Description

4/22/26- Updated to add attachment for questions and answers. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.202, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The requirement is for the cleaning and sanitization of Sanitary Tank #2, with an option for Tank #1 and Tank #3, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Location of Work: The services will be performed at Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL), Portsmouth Naval Shipyard-DETACHMENT, in San Diego, CA. Period of Performance: The period of performance is from September 29, 2026, to February 28, 2027. This is a solicitation for quotes, and the Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order. Please be advised that the submission of a quote does not constitute a legally binding contract. Submission Instructions All interested offerors must review the complete Request for Quote (RFQ) embedded in the attached Combined Synopsis/Solicitation document. To be considered for award, offerors must complete and return the RFQ, along with any additional supporting documents, in accordance with the submission instructions outlined under FAR 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors�Commercial Products and Commercial Services," contained within the RFQ.
