Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for commercial items found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The RFP number is N62473-17-R-3006. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. This is the sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition procedures (SAP), in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). Justification for Sole Source was approved on 11 May 2017. This Sole Source award is to procure a comprehensive Five-Day training program and exam for Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification and Testing for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW) for the dates of training from 12 June 2017 to 16 June 2017 in San Diego, CA. CEM® certification is available only through the Association of Energy Engineers. AEE seminars is the sole source provider of this program. This combined synopsis/solicitation is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.
