Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Federal Crop Insurance Corporation (FCIC)/Risk Management Agency (RMA) requests services in an advisory capacity for the Nursery Value Select Pilot Crop Insurance Program for subtropical and temperate plants. This Request for Information (RFI) is being issued for information, market research and planning purposes ONLY and does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate for any cost incurred in developing information provided. No determination as to the viability of this requirement has been made at this point and there is currently no solicitation for this effort. Any solicitation resulting from this RFI will be announced separately. The purpose of this RFI is to: 1. Obtain information regarding availability and capability of qualified vendors; 2. Obtain business size of qualified vendors- small (including socio-economic status) or other than small (large); 3. Identify size classification status relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition is 541611- Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services, size standard of $24.5 Million; and 4. Gain industry comment/feedback on the draft Performance Work Statement. Responses to this RFI Q&A (Attachment A) will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions.
