Please provide your capability statement,� I will accept responses for this Sources Sought until the 24th of November 2025 14:00 EDT, thanks. 1.Scope of Work: C.W. Bill Young Veterans Medical Center located at 10000 Bay Pines Blvd. Bay Pines; FL. 33744, is seeking procurement of one Fluent Pro System from Hologic Name Brand or Equal. This requirement needs to provide one Fluent Pro System (P/N: FLT-200). 2.Background: This unit is designed to optimize fluid control during hysteroscopic procedures. The current inventory EE#153579 has reached end of life and no longer meets the operational needs of staff. 3.Place of Performance: The product is requested to be delivered to Surgery Service, building 100, MOR. 10,000 Bay Pines Blvd, Bay Pines, Florida 33744, via the Warehouse Building 110 for Equipment. 4.Period of Performance: The product is requested to be delivered no later than December 2nd. 5.Type of Contract: Supply: Firm, Fixed Price. 6.Requirement Overview: The Contractor shall provide the full requested quantity of products listed below. 6.1 Salient Characteristics NAME BRAND or EQUAL - Equipment Requirement: Fluent Pro System (P/N: FLT-200). QTY. 1 - (P/N: FLT-200) Fluent Pro System Equipment Requirement: Minimum Required Features and Specifications System Design and Operation Must be an automated fluid management system with both inflow and outflow (suction) regulation for hysteroscopic procedures. Must use SmartFlo or equivalent adaptive fluid control technology that automatically adjusts flow to maintain target intrauterine pressure. Must include touchscreen interface for real-time visualization of pressure, inflow/outflow volumes, and fluid deficit. Must display real-time deficit values with visual and audible alerts when approaching safety thresholds. Must provide three selectable suction levels (Low, Medium, High) with the capability for rapid suction performance (up to 4× faster than standard Fluent system). Must allow for automatic balancing between inflow and outflow to maintain consistent cavity distention and visualization. Pressure and Flow Monitoring Must measure and display intrauterine pressure in mmHg with accuracy within ±5 mmHg. Must regulate fluid inflow to maintain the surgeon-set pressure throughout resection and evacuation phases. Must allow user-defined safety limits for fluid deficit based on patient condition and procedure type. Integration and Compatibility Must be fully compatible with Hologic MyoSure® tissue-removal devices and accessories currently used at the C.W. Bill Young VAMC. Must support connection to standard wall suction or vacuum source without modification to facility plumbing. Must operate with single-use, disposable tubing sets and FloPak fluid cartridges to ensure sterility and eliminate cross-contamination risk. Must not require custom hardware or external controller interfaces beyond standard operating room power and suction. Safety and Compliance Must provide visual and audible alarms for over-pressure, high deficit, occlusion, and flow interruptions. Must include a built-in safety shut-off to halt inflow if deficit exceeds the pre-set threshold. Must comply with applicable FDA, IEC, and ISO medical electrical equipment standards. Must support use with sterile saline or electrolyte-based distension media. Physical and Utility Requirements Portable tabletop or cart-mounted configuration suitable for OR use. Electrical requirements: standard 120 V AC, 60 Hz hospital outlet. Weight: 40 lb (for easy transport and setup). Must include holder or mount for inflow/outflow fluid bags and waste canister system. Must include integrated display with intuitive user interface for pressure, flow rate, and deficit monitoring. Accessories and Consumables Must include all manufacturer-recommended accessories necessary for installation, calibration, and operation. Must be compatible with existing facility sterilization and waste-handling protocols.
