Description

The U. S. Coast Guard (USCG) intends to make an award, on a sole source basis, to Tetra Tech Inc., 3475 E Foothill Blvd Pasadena, Ca 91107, in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C), in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under a contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order. The USCG requires continued technical services in support of evaluating Vessel Security Plans (VSP), Piracy Annexes (PA), and validating participation in Alternative Security Programs (ASP) for the U.S. Coast Guard Marine Safety Center (MSC) Vessel Security Division, located at 2703 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave S.E., Washington, DC 20593-7581. The total period of performance, including options, is from 06 April 2026 to 05 April 2028. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for a quote or proposal. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. Responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
