Description
The USCG is seeking information from industry on potential solutions for replacing the Rescue 21 system. Committed to ensuring the safety and security of mariners and maintaining maritime domain awareness, the USCG is looking for innovative solutions from industry to address these challenges and enhance the future capabilities of the Rescue 21 system. The purpose of this RFI is to gather insights on advanced technologies, systems, sensor architectures, and AI and Machine Learning-enabled capabilities that can meet evolving operational requirements and ensure the USCG's effectiveness in its maritime missions. We encourage participation from vendors with products, services, and expertise relevant to any technical aspect of a next-generation maritime distress response and communications system, even if proposed capabilities address only a specific component or area. Please see the attached RFI for USCG Maritime Public and Tactical Communications (MPTC).
