Description
This is a construction requirement for the design, demolition, and installation of HVAC equipment at building 1510 IAW the Statement of Work. The building is 4,400 square feet and conditioned with a 4-pipe system composed of a one-year-old chiller, 40-year-old air handling unit with straight ducted air, and a 9-year-old boiler system supply hot water coils. The air handling unit, hot water coils, and boiler will be the main components replaced. Period of Performance: Not to exceed 232 Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed issuance. Competition: This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set Aside for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238220.The Magnitude of this requirement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204(d) is valued between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. ***A site visit is schedule for Tuesday, 3 February 2026 / 09:00 (local) EST. Site visit location is 575 Killian Avenue, Shaw AFB, SC 29152. SITE VISIT ATTENDANCE FOR PRIME CONTRACTORS COMPETING FOR AWARD IS MANDATORY! Please refer to attachments 13 through 15 to ensure to adhere to all requirements necessary to obtain a pass to access the installation. Please send base access request to Ms. Goodman and Mr. Ford at kishauna.goodman@us.af.mil and darrel.ford.3@us.af.mil no later than Wednesday, 28 January to allow time for processing. Escorts will NOT be provided. All questions for this solicitation will be due no later than Tuesday, 10 February 2026 / 2:00 P.M. (local) EST. Submit questions to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Darrel Ford at darrel.ford.3@us.af.mil and the Contract Specialist, Ms. Kishauna Goodman at kishauna.goodman@us.af.mil. Bids for this solicitation are due no later than Wednesday, 15 April 2026 / 10:00 A.M (local) EST. Only electronic bids will be accepted through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) system for this solicitation posted on SAM.gov. Bids may be accepted at email addresses darrel.ford.3@us.af.mil or kishauna.goodman@us.af.mil ONLY after attempts to post bid through SAM.gov are unsuccessful and prior coordination with Mr. Ford or Ms. Goodman. Bid Opening is schedule for Thursday, 16 April 2026 / 10:00 (local) EST. Building opening location is 20th Contracting Squadron, 321 Cullen Street, Building 216, 2nd Floor Conference Room 219. If attending in person, please ensure installation access requirements are met. Escorts will NOT be provided. Bid opening procedures will also be available to Bidders on Microsoft Teams. A dial-in number will be made available prior to bid opening. SOLICITATION AMENDMENT FA480326B00020001 The purpose of this amendment is to provide updates to solicitation FA480326B0002. Updates include replacing Statement of Work dated 11 Sep 25 with Statement of Work dated 20 Feb 26, removing Design Phase requirement, reducing Period of Performance Dates from 232 calendar days to 90 calendar days, incorporating questions and answers into the solicitation and adding site visit sign-in sheet.
