NO SOLICITATION PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES. PROCUREMENT TITLE: Ellex Absolu Ultrasound Console INTENT TO AWARD: The Department of Veterans Affairs (NCO 1), Brockton Healthcare System 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301-5596; intends to award one (1) Contract to SDVOSB Corp Medical Supply, LLC, for the Ellex Absolu Ultrasound Console system. BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION: The VA Boston Healthcare System Surgical Department, Optometry Section, located at the Brockton Campus, is requesting a replacement of their Ellex Absolu Ultrasound. The Ellex Absolu Ultrasound Console is a critical tool in optometry, particularly for monitoring intraocular tumors and retinal detachments in patients with poor media. See enclosed Statement of work (SOW). NAICS: 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing, 1,250 Employees PSC: 6515 Medical and surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies AUTHORITY: The authority for this procurement will be via FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
