Description
General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: CA City: Santa Barbara Delineated Area: City limits of Santa Barbara, CA Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 17,526 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 19,279 Space Type: Office and Courtrooms Parking Spaces (Total): 3 Parking Spaces (Surface): 3 Parking Spaces (Structured): 3 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 3 Full Term: 20 Years Firm Term: 15 Years Option Term: 3 Years Additional Requirements: Provide full separation of staff and visitor sections of the building, including private entrance from secure parking area to staff side of building. This building requires multiple separate circulation paths, including 1) restricted circulation for judges connecting the judicial parking to chambers and courtrooms and 2) public circulation leading from the security screening station at the building entry to the public offices of each agency in the building and to the courtrooms and other public spaces. Careful consideration must be made to incorporate these separate circulation paths with code required exit pathways. Required public exits from the courtroom cannot exit into the restricted corridors. Secure parking area. Second floor (or above) for Courtroom(s). Minimum of two public elevators, one for public use and the second for agency use. Second elevator can be a freight elevator. Screening space for visitors. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 1-percent-annual chance floodplain (formerly referred to as the �100-year floodplain�). Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
