PSC
What the government is buying
PSC labels cover a product, service, research area, construction activity, repair category, or other acquisition purpose. Read the official includes, excludes, and notes when labels overlap.
Free lookup tool
Type an official code, product, or service. Add up to ten codes to a shortlist, compare them, then search all selected codes together. Results come from official names and scope text, not an AI guess.
Historical codes can appear in older solicitations and records.
Add likely codes from the dropdown. Then read each official scope and search the selected codes together before deciding what fits.
A Product and Service Code describes what a federal buyer is purchasing. A North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code describes the industry assigned to the work. One solicitation can carry both, and neither code certifies that a business is qualified.

NAICS
NAICS connects the acquisition to an industry and its small business size standard. Use the NAICS code finder when your question is about what your business does.
Solicitation
Treat this lookup as a shortlist, not an assignment. Confirm the codes shown on the solicitation and ask the listed contracting contact when a classification appears wrong.
These are the official broad categories, with a few currently active examples in each. Use the finder for the complete code list, including historical codes.
Active codes appear by default. Historical codes are available for older records but should not be treated as current merely because they match a phrase.
