Description
In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4,the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. The FAA intends to award a single-source contract to Nuvitek, LLC., Arlington, VA 22209 which is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Nuvitek built the existing workflows that will be used for the foundational certification, waivers, evaluation, oversight and safety reporting for Drones. This same foundational system will be used for the Aerospace Hub and the Certification Services Oversight Process (CSOP) integration, and the only vendor that has the intimate knowledge to meet the mandates of the Flight Plan goals and the extremely tight timelines. The procurement will have a 24-month period of performance.
