Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice Announcement only. This advertisement is not a solicitation for offers, nor is it a request for quotes. A request for quotes may be issued at a later date. We are seeking responsible vendors to provide Commercial on-site shredding services, including the locked shredding containers and secure destruction of sensitive documents at 6 United States Census Bureau (USCB) Regional Offices (RO). The anticipated requirement consists of a one-year base period and three (3) one-year option periods. See attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for the complete description of the requirement. Commercial on-site shredding services, including the locked shred containers and secure destruction of sensitive documents for the RO�s. The purpose of this notice is to obtain additional market research information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified small businesses, and large businesses; (2) whether such businesses are HUBZone small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, or small disadvantaged businesses; and (3) their size classification under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561990 for the proposed acquisition. Responses to this request will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. The purpose of this market research is to identify other socio-economic small businesses prior to issuing an unrestricted solicitation or identifying available sources under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule if applicable. Interested parties shall not be reimbursed for costs associated with preparation of their responses. Any proprietary information should be marked. Interested organizations presenting a Capability Statement in response to this Sources Sought Notice must identify their size status. Respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov and complete Online Representations and Certifications Application. Responses should include: (1)Company Name and Address, (2) Cage Code, (3)Unique Identifier Number, (4)Your company�s GSA/FSS contract number if available, (5) Socio-economic status of business, (6) Company business size by NAICS, (7)Point of Contact for questions and/or clarification, (8) Telephone Number and email address, (9) Web Page URL, (10) Ability to provide service to all 6 Regional Offices, and (11) Demonstration capability, and capacity to furnish services. All capability statements sent in response to this Sources Sought Notice must be submitted electronically (via email) to the Point of Contact below in MS Word or Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). The subject line must specify the Sources Sought Number. All information submissions shall be received via e-mail to [email protected], addressed to Pamela Miller Contract Specialist.
