Description

The Department of War is seeking informaiton on small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) capable of conducting One-Way Attack (OWA) missions to augment current warfighting capabilities. The intent per the Secretary of War's July 2025 Drone Dominance memo is to "accelerate growth of the U.S. industrial base to outfit our combat units with cheap and effective U.S.-made UAS." Every warfighter must have access to low cost/attritable sUAS to conduct OWA. The Drone Dominance Program (DDP) is designed to help industry organzie around the need for low-cost, supply-chain secure sUAS manufacturing at scale, urgently. The DDP intends to place $1 billion in fixed-price orders utilizing 10 U.S.C. 4022 over four phases in the next two years. The full RFI, attached below, contains more information about the DDP and instructions on how to respond to this RFI. The Drone Dominance Website, linked below, contains information on how the DDP originated and more about the future of the DDP.
