Buy Indian Act � Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ________________________________________ 1. Notice Type This is a Sources Sought Notice issued for market research purposes only, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 and 48 CFR Part 326 (Buy Indian Act). This notice does not constitute a solicitation, request for proposal, or commitment by the Government. ________________________________________ 2. Purpose The purpose of this notice is to identify qualified Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of performing the requirements described herein. The Government intends to determine whether this requirement can be fulfilled through an ISBEE set aside under the Buy Indian Act. ________________________________________ 3. Requirement Description The Government is seeking capability statements from ISBEEs for the following requirement: Title: Fuel Oil Furnace Replacement with Propane Heating System. Summary of Work: Replace the existing fuel oil furnace, tank, and associated piping and support equipment with a propane-based heating system to improve efficiency and safety at BIA Building 308. NAICS Code: J041 � Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors - $19 Million Place of Performance: Bureau of Indian Affairs, Eastern Nevada Agency Building 308, 1324 Justice Way, Owyhee, NV89832 ________________________________________ 4. ISBEE Eligibility To be considered an ISBEE, firms must meet the definition in 48 CFR 326.602: � At least 51% owned by one or more Indians or Indian Tribes � Controlled by one or more Indians � Small business under the assigned NAICS code Respondents must submit a completed Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Representation Form with their capability statement. ________________________________________ 5. Capability Statement Requirements Interested ISBEEs shall submit a capability statement that includes: A. Company Information � Company name � UEI number � Address � Point of contact (name, phone, email) � Business size and ISBEE status � Tribal affiliation (if applicable) B. Technical Capability � Description of relevant experience � Summary of technical qualifications � Equipment, personnel, and resources available C. Past Performance � Up to three recent and relevant projects � Contract numbers, dollar values, and points of contact D. Additional Documentation � Completed IEE Representation Form � Any applicable licenses, certifications, or bonding capacity ________________________________________ 6.
