Description

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101, as established by the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) intends to award a purchase order to Kastle Systems LLC for installation of new equipment to integrate with the existing Kastle Systems LLC physical security systems in CFTC�s offices in Washington, DC; New York, NY; Chicago, IL; and Kansas City, MO. Kastle Systems LLC is the sole proprietor of the existing system. The Government intends to procure this requirement under the authority of 41 U.S.C. � 1901, as implemented by RFO FAR 12.102(a). The equipment and services required by CFTC are available from only one responsible source and no other alternative solution will satisfy the needs of the agency. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS nor a solicitation of offers. However, the Government will consider written responses from all responsible sources received by 12:00 p.m. ET on April 16, 2026. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of market research for future requirements. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any costs of preparation in response to this announcement.
