Page 1 of 1 Department of Veterans Affairs NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities, and qualifications necessary to provide the services required for Loch Raven VA Medical Center. Please respond to this RFI/Sources Sought 36C24526Q0071 with your: 1. Business name (including Unique Entity ID (SAM.gov) 2. Business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and 3. Person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 4. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing these types of services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar facilities. 5. Available contract vehicles (GSA FSS, etc.) for use by Department of VA (include applicable NAICS) 6. Brief Summary of categories of services that your company can/cannot provide. 7. Certification(s) / Licenses for meeting the local requirements to provide these services at the Huntington VAMC (if applicable) 8. Confirmation that your organization has the capability & expertise to meet the performance requirements while complying with applicable limitations in subcontracting by responding to the questions below with your response: a. Do you intend to self-perform this effort? b. If you are located outside the immediate area, how will you self-perform? c. Or do you intend to subcontract work under this contract? d. If you intend to subcontract work under this contract, how will you ensure compliance with the limitations on subcontracting? Response Instructions: Responses must be received by Friday 10/31/ 2026 @ 11:00 AM EST. Responses to the information requested above must be submitted via email to William.Galletta@va.gov SCOPE OF WORK LR Bldg 6 Boiler Replacement Project: 512-25-052 GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK: The contractor will provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the above-named project at the VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS), Loch Raven Campus. Contractor is to remove the existing boiler in the Building 6 mechanical room a Weil McClain Water Tube Boiler rated at 209MBH and replace it with a CSD-1 compliant boiler on the existing equipment pad. The old boiler should be properly disposed of after removal with disposal receipts provided to VA. New boiler should use existing utility lines for tie-in s where possible except for the existing Vent line. Per NBCI code, the vent line must be PVC and the atmospheric metal duct deteriorate. Contractor to confirm feasibility of utility line tie-ins and vent line replacement during pre-bid walk through. Utility tie-ins may require minor modifications to fit the existing space and new boiler. Contractor to follow boiler manufacturer install instructions for proper installation. Contractor will provide materials to meet ICRA requirements set forth by safety based on the work to be completed. Contractor to provide warranty and start-up after install of new boiler to confirm proper operation. Remove and dispose of existing Weil McClain Water Tube Boiler (209MBH). Provide disposal receipts to VA. Provide and install CSD-1 compliant Boiler sized to match existing boiler. Utilize existing utility lines for tie-ins where possible except for the vent line. New PVC vent line must be installed. Contractor to adhere to any and all local, state, federal, and VA specifications and guidelines. Work will be completed in 30 calendar days from Notice To Proceed.
