Description

KS QUIVIRA NWR 9 BAY BRIDGE The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is releasing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the replacement of the existing nine�cell box bridge at Quivira National Wildlife Refuge with a new low�water crossing. The project will follow all provided specifications and drawings. The new structure is designed to allow water to safely flow over the roadway during high�water events, improving long�term durability and reducing maintenance compared to the previous bridge. Construction will be completed in accordance with the outlined plans to ensure proper site preparation, material selection, and safety standards. The solicitation will be posted in 15 days. This procurement action is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-aside. A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will be announced with the solicitation. The NAICS code in 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a size standard of $45M. The project magnitude is between $200,000 and $300,000. The work will commence within 15 days of Notice to Proceed and be completed within 180 days. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This work involves performing work as defined in the Statement of Work that will be provided when solicitation is issued. Detailed requirements and/or specifications will be listed within the solicitation. A Firm Fixed Price award is contemplated from this solicitation with an award to the offeror(s) providing the best value, based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the solicitation once issued. The solicitation package will include the Solicitation Forms (SF1442), Statement of Work and other attachments as required. Documents will be posted to the https://www.sam.gov. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this requirement. The SAM can be found at https://www.sam.gov. Payments will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer using the data within the SAM registration database. A pre-proposal site visit and instructions will be announced with the solicitation.
