It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be in writing. The Syracuse VA Medical Center has a requirement for construction services to perform the replacement of three institutional boiler exhaust stacks located at the ROME Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) 125 Brookley Road #510, Rome NY 13441. The project shall include: Demolition of the three existing boiler exhaust stacks Abatement of known and unknown asbestos and other potential hazardous materials Installation/construction of three new replacement exhaust stacks, supporting structural steel tower and foundation. Installation involves structural steel fabrication that requires 3rd party NYS special inspection during construction. Services shall be performed by a general contractor with experience and expertise in the demolition and construction/installation of institutional boiler exhaust stacks and supporting structural steel tower. The NAICS Code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors", with a size standard of $19M. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Syracuse VA Medical Center. This is not a solicitation.
