Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. Solicitation: 36C25226B0010 Project: 550-24-102: Replace AHU B102 (CON) Location: VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) 1900 East Main Street Danville, IL 61832 VA Illiana Health Care System (VAIHCS) has a requirement to replace an Air Handling Unit (AHU) in Building 102 in accordance with the project drawings and specifications. Work includes general construction, alterations, necessary removal and replacement of air handling units, piping, fittings, and heads. Includes electrical work, controls integration, and ducting, Landscaping and floor repairs as necessary. Contractor shall Furnish all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, supervision, management, and all other necessary resources required for Project #550-24-102 Replace AHU B102 as required by the drawings and specifications. The Period of Performance is Three Hundred Thirty (330) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NTP shall be issued approximately 14 calendar days after award once required payment and performance bonds and certificate of insurance is provided. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on www.SAM.gov. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(DEVIATION) (b), at the time of submission of bids, and at the time of award of any contract, the offeror must represent to the CO that it is a (1) SDVOSB eligible under VAAR Subpart 819.70; (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) Certified SDVOSB listed in the SBA certification database at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/ (see 13 CFR 128). The solicitation will be issued on or about February 2, 2026. The bidder is responsible for monitoring and downloading any amendments from SAM.gov which may be issued to this solicitation. The magnitude of the requirement is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors; small business $19 Million size standard applies.
