Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the construction contract for the Air Traffic Control Tower project at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to includethe following sole source requirements: Description of Action: This Justification and Approval (J&A) is being prepared for the specification of Jacobs as the required provider of Water and Sewer connection services for the construction of the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) at Fort Campbell (FTC) in Kentucky. The Government will not contract directly with Jacobs. Jacobs has a privatized utility contract with FTC, so the construction will be a new firm-fixed-price (FFP) task order on that privatized utility contract. This action includes the fee required to be paid to Jacobs for constructing a connection to the privately-owned water and sewer lines. This will include any materials necessary for the connection. The work must be performed by Jacobs as per their privatized utility contract. *This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirement described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM ET on 31 July 2026 to [email protected].
