THE INTENT IS TO CALIBRATE THESE INSTRUMENTS AT FOUR RADIOLOGICAL MEASUREMENTS: 12 UR/HR, 15 UR/HR, 80 UR/H AND 220 UR/HR. IN ADDITION, A CORRECTION FACTOR AT 50&80 MR/HR WILL BE SHOWN ON THE CALIBRATION DOCUMENT. IF THE UNIT REQUIRES BATTERY REPLACEMENT. BATTERIES WILL BE PURCHASED FROM EITHER INSPIRED ENERGY, THE MANUFACTURER OF THE SPECIALIZED BATTERY OR FROM GE REUTER-STOKES OR ANOTHER COMPANY. IF NEW FIRMWARE IS NEEDED. THE CONTRACTOR WILL INSTALL FIRMWARE AS REQUESTED BY THE CONTRACTOR OFFICER REPRESENTATIVE (COTR). SHIPMENTS WILL OCCUR EACH YEAR FROM FEBRUARY TO FEBRUARY. THE GOVERNMENT WILL PAY TO SHIP TEN HPIC UNITS TO THE CONTRACTOR. THE CONTRACTOR WILL PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING INCLUDING INSURANCE FOR EACH INSTRUMENT. THE PRESENT DAY MARKET VALUE FOR ONE RSS-131-200 IS $ 9,730.00.
