Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with part 12 under NAICS code 336611 Ship Building and Repair. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W912BU26BA030 is issued as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a new self-propelled tugboat for the Army Corps of Engineers, Chicago District, for use in support of its various missions. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. There will be liquidated damages associated with this procurement. Bid guarantee, payment, and performance bonding are required. The principal dimensions of the vessel are: Molded Length Overall 80 ft 0 in; Molded Beam Overall 28 ft 0 in; Molded Depth (at Amidships) 12 ft 0 in; Design Draft 9ft 5 in; Air Draft (from 7 ft 0in draft) 36 ft 11 3/4 in. The inspection/acceptance and delivery are FOB destination 750 calendar days after award. The Contractor shall deliver the vessel afloat and ready for service at the following location: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 124 N. Main St, Kewaunee, WI 54216. Bids are due on 8 September 2026 at 1500 EDT. The Offeror?s bid shall be submitted electronically via Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
