Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source modification to Delivery Order (DO) N0001923F2616, under contract N0001920D0008 to Raytheon Company, (Raytheon), 1151 E Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756-9367 to procure supply chain management data deliverables. This BOM is critical to adequately illuminate the supply base, support demand, capacity, and capability modeling as well as enable standard and efficient aggregation of common materials across the weapons industrial base to promote critical defense industrial base needs and mitigate supply base disruptions.. This contract modification is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. � 3204(a)(l) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of Tomahawk, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience, and tooling to produce the requirements described herein to satisfy the Government's requirement. Unless otherwise stated herein, no formal request for proposal or additional written information is currently available. Request for same will be disregarded. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
