Description
This notice is provided for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 336414 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,300 employees. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone intends to issue a solicitation resulting in award of an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) munitions on an other than full and open competitive basis under the authority of Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C) 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B) -- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed acquisition is limited to Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC), 1701 W Marshall Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75051; CAGE Code 64059. LMMFC is the only source with the knowledge, experience, technical expertise, and infrastructure necessary to meet the GMLRS requirements. The proposed contract action will support GMLRS requirements for Fiscal Years (FY) 2028 through 2032. The five-year ordering period is anticipated to start on 31 March 2027 and end on 30 March 2030 and will include an additional option to extend the contract by 6 months in accordance with FAR 52.217-9, Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. The production annual quantity of up to 19,002 tactical rockets (3,167 pods) consisting of a combination of various rocket pod variants and up to 3,000 LCRRPR (500 pods) will support U.S., Foreign Military Sales, and cooperative partners requirements. Additional supporting efforts include, but are not limited to: Integrated Product Support, Bunker Storage, Cybersecurity, Obsolescence, Supply Chain Risk Management, Tooling, and Country Unique requirements.
