How do I register as a vendor in Washington?
Washington vendors use WEBS for many competitive solicitations. Register on the official DES vendor site before bidding. Follow the checklist on this page, then complete every field only on the official portal.
Is Washington vendor registration free?
Many state portals charge nothing or only a small state fee. Confirm any fee on the official site. Never pay a third party who claims they can replace free official forms without explaining what you are buying.
Do I still need SAM.gov?
Yes for most federal prime work. Washington registration does not create a SAM Unique Entity ID. Start with the SAM.gov registration walkthrough if you need both tracks.
Should I pay an expediter?
Only if you understand the fee and still want hand-holding after free APEX counseling. Official registration is on government portals. Expediters do not make you more competitive on price or past performance.
What is the interest form on this page?
